A time for giving thanks.

If you are anything like me, you are having a hard time believing that we have already entered the holiday season. In many ways I am welcoming this time of year with thoughts of cozy sweaters and warm hot chocolate, and in others ways I’m panicking and not quite ready for the hustle and bustle. Thankfully this year I can do much, if not all, of my shopping right here in our downtown!

As I walked the streets last Sunday afternoon for Downtown Open House, I felt so proud of our little town and how far we’ve come in just a few short years. To see so many merchants and businesses coming together to create a fun atmosphere for shoppers and visitors left me in awe of them and proud to say I live in Laurel.

Thank you.

Thank you for continuing to shop local and supporting the businesses that are passionately rebuilding our city. These merchants have spent long, late hours gathering the finest goods and products for us, all while juggling their own families and lives. Thank you merchants for opening your doors and working so hard to create the best experience visitors can possibly have.
