The combined choirs of First United Methodist Church and First-Trinity Presbyterian Church will sing a number of selections that were commissioned and composed for the very first Service of Lessons & Carols 100 years ago. Nursery provided for children 4 and under, but worshippers of all ages are welcome in the sanctuary. This is sure to be a blessing to all who attend, as well as a great night of collaborative worship for our community!

Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas Concert

The ninth annual Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas Concert will return to the Laurel Little Theatre on Sunday, December 17th at 2PM. The concert will feature “The Cool Joe Trio” of John Milham, Chris Spies, and Chris Severin performing Vince Guaraldi’s Soundtrack “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Grammy award winning trumpeter Leon “Kid Chocolate” Brown, and renowned jazz vocalist, Eileina Davis will join the concert this year to perform a Louis Armstrong/Ella Fitzgerald Christmas Tribute.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Good Samaritan Center, a private, non-profit, social service agency.
