Much of the magic of the Christmas holidays seems to be bottled up in the joy of spending time with friends and family and in the sights, and particularly the sounds, that surround us during this incredible time of year.
One event is quickly becoming a cherished tradition among those of us who tune into traditional Christmas carols (and even the occasional modern adaptation) sometimes well before the Thanksgiving leftovers have had time to cool.
Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas is a musical event unlike any other
On December 19th, 2014 the Laurel Little Theatre will come alive with music from the best instrumental talent in the south. The 6th annual event features the John Milham Trio consisting of three accomplished musicians – drummer John Milham, pianist Chris Spies and bassist Chris Severin, performing Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas”.
The event is quickly becoming a holiday favorite among all ages. Children especially love when Snoopy takes the stage during the performance and are sure to be delighted by a few surprises in store!
When the trio leaves the stage, a selection of Mobile, Alabama’s most talented songwriters will fill our little Downtown theatre with a variety of their favorite Christmas tunes. Come enjoy the talents of Molly Thomas Milham, Andy McDonald, Ryan Balthrop, Eric Erdman, Rebecca Roubion and more!
