Magnolia State Bank Chili Cook Off
2nd Saturday · February
Laurel Main Street kicks off each new year with the annual Magnolia State Bank Chili Cook Off! The event takes place the second Saturday in February and is held downtown with music, beverages, and teams competing to be the winner. All entries are cooked on site and judged by a team of professionals.
Chili is sold by the All-You-Can-Eat $10 bowl and by the Bottomless $25 keepsake pottery bowl. Bottomless bowls are hand crafted by local potter, Carl Buchanan.
Children under twelve EAT FREE!
Although we love our furry friends, we ask that you leave your pets at home. Thank you!
A raffle is also part of the day’s festivities. Tickets may be purchased in advance from the Laurel Main Street Board members or at the event.
