GET SLEEP. EAT CLEAN. DRINK WATER. EXERCISE. REPEAT.

Eating right doesn’t have to be complicated. Simply make healthier food and beverage choices. These recommendations from the Dietary Guidelines for Americans can help you get started.

o   Emphasize fruit, vegetables, whole grains and low-fat or fat-free mild and milk products.

o   Include lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs and nuts.

o   Make sure your diet is low in saturated fats, trans fats, salt (sodium) and added sugars.

South Central has launched numerous community health initiatives over the years to promote health and wellness. As part of this initiative, South Central will be teaming up with community organizations to promote healthy eating.

Children’s Health Fair

In addition to this initiative, South Central will be hosting a Children’s Health Fair this month!
